The Dogist

The Dogist es uno de esos descubrimientos que me ha sorprendido no sólo por la belleza de sus fotos, sino por el proyecto de ayuda tan bonito que realiza.
The Dogist son una serie de fotos dedicadas a capturar la belleza de los perros. Pero no sólo eso, también ha creado el programa de ayuda "Un hueso para un perro" con el fin de contibuir a:
* Incrementar las oportunidades de un perro de ser adoptado
* Mejorar la vida de los perros en los refugios
* Apoyar y promocionar asociaciones que acogen perros (parte de lo que se recauda va directamente a la protectora).
El programa es como un "amigo invisible" para los perros. Donando un hueso, The Dogist entregará un hueso de cuero a un perro de una protectora y publicará una foto del perro con su hueso nuevo en el blog The Dogist citando al donador.

The Dogist is one of those discoveries that  surprised me not only because of the beauty of the photos but the beautiful aid proyect they keep.
The Dogist is a photo-documentary series dedicated to capturing the beauty of dogs. But not only, because the Dogist has created the Give a Dog a Bone program to help:

•Get dogs out of shelters
•Improve dog’s quality of life in shelters
•Support and  promote organizations that shelter dogs (a portion of proceeds goes directly to the featured shelter)
The program is a bit like “Secret Santa” for dogs. By purchasing a bone ($50-$100), The Dogist will personally deliver a rawhide bone to a dog in a shelter and post a photograph of the dog with their new bone to The Dogist blog, citing the donor.

¿Puedes encontrar a Momo en estas fotos? Can you find momo in thesephotos?

Momo es un border collie de 5 años y su dueño es Andrew, un fotógrafo y diseñador gráfico canadiense que vive en Ontario. 

Andrew se dio cuenta que cuando hacía una foto a Momo durante sus paseos cerca de casa, al tirarle un palo o la pelota, éste aparecía camuflado en el paisaje y a veces era muy difícil distinguirle. Empezó a colgar las fotos en su cuenta de  Instagram etiquetadas con #FindMomo. Y lo que empezó con un juego al estilo "Donde está Wally" (aunque esta no fuera la idea inicial)  se convirtió poco a poco y gracias al boca a boca de sus seguidores en un auténtico fenómeno.  

Después creó una cuenta Tumblr, una página web y ahora está a punto de publicar un libro. Todo un éxito

Momo is a 5 years old border collie and his owner is Andrew, an Ontario based photographer and graphic designer.

Andrew realized that when he took a photo to Momo while walking close to home, when throwing a stick or ball, Momo appeared camouflaged in the landscape and sometimes was very difficult to distinguish. He began to hang the photos in his Instagram account tagged with # FindMomo. And what started with a game "Where's Waldo" style (although this was not the initial idea) gradually became, thanks to word of mouth of his followers in a real phenomenon.

Then created a Tumblr account, a website and now is about to publish a book. A real success!!

Perros en Instagram: Harlow and Sage and Indiana

Harlow y Sage son unas auténticas estrellas en Instagram con más de 86.000 seguidores. En su página podemos ver divertidísimas fotos con diferentes prendas y posturas y también algunos videos. Harlow es un expresivo Braco de Weimar y Harlow era un precioso Teckel. Ydigo era porque hace 2 semanas que Sage, que ya era muy mayor, nos dejó. Y para que Harlow no se sienta tan solo ya tiene un nuevo compañero que se llama Indiana, un gracioso cachorro también de raza Teckel.

Harlow and Sage are some real stars on Instagram with over 86,000 followers. In their page we can see hilarious photos with different clothing and stances and also some videos. Harlow is an expressive Weimaraner  and Harlow was a beautiful Dachshund. I say "was" because two weeks ago that Sage, which was already very old,  left us. And that Harlow will not feel so alone and have the new company of Indiana, also a funny race dachshund puppy. And in order that Harlow does not fell alone  he has already a new partner named Indiana, a graceful puppy also of Teckel breed.
