Presentando a Bimba. Introducing Bimba

Tengo el placer de presentaros a Bimba, el nuevo miembro de nuestra familia. La hemos adoptado porque su familia, a pesar del lo muchísimo que la querían, ya no podían tenerla. El niño pequeño de la familia empezó con una alergia importante que incluso le provocaba dificultad respiratoria y por recomendación médica la perrita tenía que salir de la casa.
Tiene 6 meses, es de raza scottish terrier y es simpatiquísima y cariñosa. No para de jugar y ya ha hecho varias trastadas (mis plantas, mis alfombras, los juguetes de las niñas, las revistas...)   En el poquito tiempo que lleva con nosotros ya nos tiene enamorados. Y algo muy importante, ¡¡¡se lleva fenomenal con Buzz!!! 

I am pleased to introduce you to Bimba, the newest member of our family. We've adopted her because her family, despite how much they loved her, they couldn´t have her at home any more. The little boy of the family began with a major allergy that caused him respiratory distress and on medical advice the dog had to leave the house.
She is 6 months old, scottish terrier  and she is very nice and caring. She can´t stop playing and has already made several mischieves (my plants, my carpets, my daughters toys, my magazines ...) In this short time we are already in love with her. And something really important: she gets along with Buzz!!!

Consejos para fotografiar perros y niños. Tips for photographing dogs and children

1. Los perros y los niños son impredecibles. Elige un lugar seguro, donde no corran ningún tipo de peligro, alejado de coches y distracciones.
2.  Ten en cuenta que si no quieren fotografiarse, no vas a conseguir fotos de calidad. Nunca les obligues a hacer algo que no quieren, espera un rato, juega con ellos, haz que se sientan cómodos.
3. Lleva chuches para conseguir atraer su atención. También sirve un juguete
4. Disfruta del momento, se positivo y alegre. Tómatelo con calma y tranquilidad, ya que esto es lo que transmites. Así conseguiras que ellos estén también más tranquilos y disfruten de la sesión de fotos.
5. No tengas grandes expectativas, es posible que necesites varias sesiones hasta conseguir fotos de calidad. Si esperas hacerlo todo a la primera y perfecto es posible que sientas frustración si no lo consigues.

Ten en cuenta que lo que pretendes es un recuerdo para toda la vida. No tengas prisa.

1. Dogs and children are unpredictable. Choose a safe place, where they can´t run any kind of risk, away from cars and distractions.

2.  Keep in mind that if they don't want to have a photo taken, you are not going to get nice pics. You never force them to do something they don't want, wait a while, play with them, make them feel comfortable.
3.  Use sweets to get his attention. It also can be useful some toys.

4. Enjoy the moment, be positive and cheerful. Take it with calm and tranquility, since this is what you transmit them. You'll get that they remain quieter and enjoy the photo shoot.

5. Don't have high expectations, you may need several sessions to get quality photos. If you expect to do it all at the first and perfect it is possible that you can feel frustration if you fail.

Keep in mind that this is a memory for life. Don´t hurry!!!!

No es la primera vez que escribo sobre la genial fotógrafa Carli Davidson. Ya he hablado sobre sus geniales fotos de perritos sacudiéndose (Shake dogs, puedes verlo aquí) pero ahora se ha superado y ha publicado  un libro con otra serie de fotos de adorables cachorros sacudiéndose que no puede ser más bonita.  

This is not the first time that I write about the great photographer Carli Davidson. I have already spoken about her great photos of dogs shaking (you can see it here) but now has published a book with another series of photos of adorable puppies shaking that can´t be prettier.

Zoey y Jasper. Zoey and Jasper

La madre de Zoey y Jasper es una genial y simpática fotógrafa especialista en mascotas que ha aprovechado su talento para retratar a sus dos "hijos" de una forma muy original. Utilizando los mismos complementos y disfraces para los dos ha creado unas divertidísimas fotos que sólo con verlas producen una tremenda ternura.

Zoey es una perrita mestiza de 7 años adoptada de Taiwan a la que le gusta el senderismo, jugar con su ardilla de peluche, comerse las migas del suelo pero sobre todo, lo que más le gusta a Zoey es Jasper.

Jasper es un niño mitad chino mitad coreano de 10 meses de edad que vive en Los Angeles y al que le gusta salir de paseo, comer tortitas y albóndigas y yogur y avena y cereales(y, a veces, todo junto) y sus mejores amigos peludos son Jasper y Maeby.

Zoey and Jasper's mother is a great and friendly pet photographer who has used her talent to portray her two kids in a very original way. Using the same accessories and costumes for them has created some funny photos that just to see them produce a tremendous tenderness.

Zoey is a 7 year old rescue mutt from Taiwan. She loves hiking, playing fetch with her toy squirrel, eating crumbs off the floor, and Jasper.

Jasper is a 10 month old Chinese-Korean mutt from Los Angeles. He loves going for walks, eating pancakes and meatballs and yogurt and oatmeal and cereal (sometimes all together), and his best furry friends Zoey and Maeby.
