Los amigos están esperando. Día Mundial del Consumo Responsable de Cerveza por Budweiser. Friends Are Waiting. Budweiser Global Be(er) Responsible Day

To celebrate the Global Be(er) Responsible Day, Budweisser has made a beautiful commercial "Friends are waiting" which shows in a very emotional way the damage that drinking alcohol in an irresponsibly way can cause to those who are next to you. This commercial is so beautiful that worth watching to the end.

Cachorros bajo el agua. Underwater puppies

The great photographer Seth Casteel, author of the famous series of pictures Underwaterdogs that I already wrote about in this post, brings out the second part of this book, although by the age of the puppies (from 6 weeks to 6 months of age) could be the first part. To create the series Seth taught to swim over 1500 puppies so that they feel secure and confident in the water. Most of the puppies just swam for a few minutes while they learned enough to float and to be able to get out of the water. However others decided to jump into the pool in their own and play to collect the toys without fear and enjoying. Seth used his photos with a  nice aiming to help the puppies to find a forever home. It is on sale from September 16.

9 consejos para bañar a un gato. 9 tips to bath a cat

No gritarle bajo ningún concepto.

It is known that cats usually hate water and bath time produces them a lot of stress and often turn into a real drama, with fights, scratches, meows, screams... In short that it is not a very appealing plan. But if it´s necessary to do it, better to note a few details to make this time easier and a little more enjoyable

1 Prepare all the material you´ll need. A special shampoo for cats that do not cross the lipid mantle and don´t damage skin, fabric softener if the cat has long hair, a clean towel and a nail clipper. You can use a towel at the bottom of the place where we are going to wash it so that the cat can hold on and don´t slip.

2. Ensure a quiet and pleasant environment without loud noises that can alter it. Not yell him under any circumstances. If the situation gets ugly, it is preferable to stop or delay it.

3. Ensure a comfortable place to bathe it and where we can hold it easily. It may be the bathtub, lavatory, sink or even a hole. The important thing is that we are comfortable and we can handle it safely.
4. If the character of cat is difficult, it is preferable to bathe between two people. One will hold it strongly by the neck and the other will proceed to rub gently and quickly.
5. The temperature of the water should be warm and must be wet, soapy and cleared up fast but in a soft way. Washing of the head is what he least likes so you must be extremely fast and it is important that no water enters inside the ear.

6. Another option for difficult cats is to put in the bath two containers with warm water, add a splash of soap in one of them and the other with water only. Immerse him quickly in soapy water and immediately in the other to clarify.
7. Wrap in a clean, dry towel.
8. Blow-dry it. It is important that it is dry to prevent skin problems.
9. It is preferable to cut nails before the bath so if the cat get angry or try to escape cause us less damage.
