10 consejos para viajar seguro con tu perro. 10 tips for a safe travel with your dog

Even if our dog is very good and quiet, animals are unpredictable and we don't know how they may react to an unusual situation. Therefore we must take precautions in order to travel by car safe, both for the driver and the animal.
1 Custom your dog to travel since childhood in the car, with small trips so he doesn´t stress. Try that he connects the car with an enjoyable experience. For example, taking him to the field in the first journeys.
2 Always keep your attitude quiet, if we are nervous we´ll spread nervousness to our dog.
3. Never should travel in the front seat, especially if the car has air bag. When the airbag jump could seriously damage the animal by the explosive force that swells.
4. Must be subject well in the rear seat with harness safety, cage or carrier. He won't bother you or distract while you drive and in the event of a sudden stop, it will not shoot towards the windscreen.
5. Place a blanket or towel on the seat or in the carrier so he can be more comfortable and to protect the seat from hairs and possible vomiting.
6. Do not allow him to put his head out of the window. He may dash through the window or suffer the impact of a stone or insect, which could be fatal at high speed. Also the air inside of the ear may cause otitis or hearing damage.
7. Avoid to eat three or four hours before the trip to try to prevent dizziness, nausea, or vomiting.
If your dog is tide he´ll begin to salivate excessively, which indicates that it is about to vomit. Stop for a while so it recovers.
8. Stop for a rest often and remove your pet from the car so that her can walk, make their needs, drink if it's very hot or just stretch his legs.
9. Never leave your dog locked in a car, especially in summer, because he could suffer a heat stroke.
10. Always carry water and a suitable pileup.

Video supertierno de animales durmiendo. Tender video of animals sleeping

Few things produce more tenderness than a puppy that can not stand awake. Such a tender video!
