7 actividades para perros aburridos en casa. 7 activities for bored dogs at home

1. Aprovecha para enseñarle a reconocer palabras nuevas. Enséñale su juguete favorito y ponle un nombre para que aprenda a reconocerlo (pelota, aro, cuerda, conejo...) Guarda el resto de juguetes y juega sólo con el elegido hasta que sea capaz de aprenderlo y reconocerlo. Repite el nombre constantemente. Cuando creas que ya lo ha reconocido (pueden pasar días) pasa al siguiente juguete. Así sucesivamente hasta que en un momento dado se encienda un click en su cabeza y entienda que los

juguetes tienen nombres.

2. Regálale un juguete nuevo. Los juguetes estimulan su inteligencia y su interés. Además estará entretenido durante horas con su nueva adquisición. No te importe que lo rompa, así es como juega y se divierte, él no quiere un juguete nuevo y precioso si no puede destrozarlo. Varía el tipo de juguetes para que tengan distintas texturas, goma, cuerda, peluche... Y compralos en tiendas especializadas con garantía y que sean seguros, las gomas deben ser inocuas y que se puedan ingerir sin envenenarle o provocarle daño.

3. Los perros, como los niños se aburren de los juguetes. Debe tener una cantidad suficiente para poder elegir lo que le apetece en distintos momentos. Si está muy activo querrá una pelota pero si prefiere estar más tranquilo elegirá un peluche o una cuerda. Guarda unos cuantos y pasado un tiempo, cuando ya se haya olvidado de ellos, vuelva a sacarlos, se sentirá entusiasmado y pasará una tarde encantado con esos juguetes que pensaba que ya no tenía o de los que no se acordaba. . Ahora es el turno de guardar los que estaban fuera y ya le aburrian.    

4. A los perros les encanta la comida y les encanta jugar. Pues junta las dos cosas y pasará un tarde encantado. Juguetes que se pueden rellenar con chuches, helados, pasta especial... conseguirán tenerle entretenido hasta sacar las chuches del interior.

También les encantan los huesos de piel dura que tardan horas en masticar. Además de entretenerle, estará limpiando sus dientes. 

5. Pasa la tarde cocinando galletas para premiarle. Puedes cocinar galletas hasta para un mes y congelarlas. Pasará la tarde a tus pies encantado y esperando probarlas en cuanto estén hechas. Imposible que no se sienta emocionado ante un olor tan rico. La espera hará que se le pase el tiempo más rápido.

6. Juega con él. Que le prestes tu atención es algo que le gusta más que nada en el mundo. Escónde juguetes o premios y juega con él a buscarlos o enséñale algún truco como a sentarse o dar la patita. El jugar tirándole una pelota nunca falla. y puede pasar horas recogiendo el juguete que le tiras.

7. Dale un masaje relajante. ¿a quien no le gusta que le den un masajito? También puedes aprovechar para cepillarle, revisarle orejas, uñas...

3. Dogs, as kids finally get bored of toys. You must have enough amount of them to be able to choose the best at different times. If the dog is very active will want a ball, but if you prefer to be more quiet you will have to choose a stuffed animal or a rope. Save a few of them and after a while, when he has forgotten what he had, then remove. He will feel excited and spend an evening enchanted with those toys that didn´t remember. .
